Amanda Hughley is a Christian author, wife, mother, and intercessor.

Amanda believes that finding and embracing God’s love amid suffering and pain is essential to possessing true joy and peace. After experiencing God’s great love and grace in her struggles with illness, Amanda founded AH Ministries to encourage others, particularly those who live with chronic illnesses or chronic pain.

Amanda’s ministry is based in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV): “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Amanda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling. She has worked with youth in various non-profit agencies around the city of Chicago. Currently, she cherishes raising her sons as a stay-at-home mother. Amanda serves in ministry at New Life Covenant Southeast under the leadership of Pastor John F. Hannah. Amanda lives in Brookfield, IL with the loves of her life - husband, Jonathan, and sons, Elijah and Micah.
